What am I gonna do with this blog thing?

Hi, if you've happend to find this site and are wondering what it is about, then I gotta tell you that even I don't know what I wanna do with it. 

Is it a blog? I'm not quite sure about that because I still don't know what counts as a blog and what bloggers often do on their sites. Although the platform I'm using to write this is Blogger, which is obviously used to create blogs, I chose it because I just wanted a place to archive what I write, and it was easier to use than WordPress.

Then is it a diary? No, it's definitely not a diary. Writing diaries are writing about your daily life on a regular basis, but I am not the kind of person who likes sharing their personal life on the Internet. I guess this might be some kind of journal where I can write about whatever random things I want at any time.

Why did I create this site in the first place? As I said above, the reason why I made this is because I want to write. I think a lot, and I think about so many things. You could find me deep in thought at any moment throughout the day, and I could be thinking about some silly stuff that just happened to me recently. If you're just like me, you'll know that keeping all of those thoughts inside my head all the time could be uncomfortable (don't know if this is the right word), and that's why I want to write; to pull out all the thoughts swirling in my mind and put them onto paper to better organize my thoughts and figure out what they are about. The second reason is that I want to improve my writing which is something I've been interested in for a long time. Being good at writing can help you a lot, both personally and professionally.

I know I said that I don't like to talk about my personal life online, but I think I should still share some general information about me anyway. I like music, and I almost exclusively listen to Japanese music. I don't know much about music genres, and if you ask me, I could probabaly list a few, but I often don't really care about them because, if the song is truly good, I'll still love and listen to it regardless of its genre. Also, I like watching movies and read books (mostly anime and manga/novels), and that's why you can expect to see lots of posts sharing my opinions and thoughts about certain shows or books. 

I don't know if you're still here, but if you are, don't expect too much from this site because I'm not a writer or journalist, and I just write for fun. Well, I think that's it for the first post (technically the second post). See you later (if I haven't forgot about this website).
